A shoot day starts with pre-production: agreeing on the goals, script, locations, crew and equipment. This is a general workflow, rather than a diary of a specific project.

The storyboard visualizes the narrative. The shot list identifies the footage required. The call sheet brings together schedules, locations and contacts; each team’s reporting time is its call time.

On location, the crew checks footage against the agreed brief and adapts to light, locations and practical conditions. Changes affecting scope or timing need an identified decision-maker.

After filming come footage management and post-production: editing, sound, color and agreed exports. Defining specifications and review criteria early makes delivery clearer.
